PROFESSIONALLY:

Currently, I am an Artist – a freelancer.

One of my main abilities is art, which I practice in the amateur branch. The Greek word for amateur is “erasitehnis”, which comes from the word “erastis” meaning lover and “tehni” meaning art, in the female gender. In its semiotics suggests that amateurs are the lovers of art. Mainly, this is what I am – an ART LOVER -with a background in marketing, trying to sustain my passion by my own financial means.

Previously, I hold positions in Marketing & Communication for two companies. One in welding industry and the other in gift paper bags manufacturing.

I founded and developed the marketing department, creating all external sales communications for the businesses on a B2B and retail bases – audio and video communications products, graphic/video design, product photography and content for online or printing materials. I was also involved in the production process, being a part of the creating team and DTP department.

Through 2001 and 2010, I was a scientific researcher in plasma physics in the National Institute for Lasers, Plasma and Radiation Physics, Bucharest, Romania.

I was a part of a team that postulated the theory of a new discovered physical phenomena.

On a personal note:

I am enthused by:

NATURE, with its life giving, through: birds, especially birds, a love I like to think I’ve “inherited” from my father, trees, plants, animals, insects, mountains, seas, oceans … everything that has the power to stop time for a second while you take the time to observe them.
One of my favorite birds are Ospreys, although, I love them all.

LITERATURE, showing that people are like you and your life is yours to live.
MUSIC, with its classical music. I love gifted pianists and violinists … or SUDDEN SMILES in the street, just because …

… and from all of this, I started to fulfill wishes to paint and draw everything that makes me vibe emotionally.

I am an artist, a lover of art … whatever I am, I am what I do. In order to find out what I am, I stopped thinking and started making art.

One day at a time, remembering that good vibes arise from doing things, either they are jobs, or helping a friend, or following a passion, as better as you can. Our best expected reward must be the accomplishment feeling of giving the best, which in time, will pay rewards. One way or another, on a short or a long time, our works or doings affects or touches people. So why not leave a good mark!
